We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is crucial for supporting the financial health of our organization and requires proficiency in various accounting software.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial statements. Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accounted for. Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting through account analysis. Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare financial reports for management review, highlighting key insights and trends. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and support overall business objectives.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices. Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation. Ability to perform account analysis and assist in budgeting processes. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders.
