Westview is hiring a new Bookkeeper!

We're a management company based in Coquitlam (10min. drive from Braid SkyTrain Station, 2 min drive from IKEA Coquitlam) handling 11 businesses, and we're looking for a new Bookkeeper to join our team.

We're looking for a bright and punctual addition to our Accounting Team at Westview Investment Inc.

Responsibilities and Duties

The successful applicant will report to the Accounting manager and is responsible for financial and administrative tasks.

Job duties for the position of Bookkeeper include (but are not limited to) the following:

Data entry

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable

Prepare and process payroll

Tax reports

Reconcile bank transactions and complete deposits

Cash handling

Assist Accountant for other accounting tasks

Administrative tasks as needed

Occasionally drive to store location (minimum 1 time per month)

Qualifications

Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration

preferred

1 year of Bookkeeping or relevant work experience required

Class 5 Driver's license

Have your own vehicle

Language Requirement

English

Korean (Strongly preferred)

Compensation

Pay is negotiable during in-person interviews

Work Environment

Full-time Permanent

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

45 minute lunch break and 15 minute coffee break
