Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our financial data. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial health of our organization while utilizing advanced accounting software tools. Candidates should have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting principles, with experience in various accounting software platforms. The position is essential for supporting budgeting, account reconciliation, and financial analysis activities.

Responsibilities



Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and transaction recording using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections Perform bank reconciliations to verify account accuracy and identify discrepancies Conduct account analysis to monitor financial performance and prepare reports for management Assist with account reconciliation procedures to ensure ledger accuracy Support payroll processing and related reporting activities Maintain organized financial records in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards Assist in budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and analysis Prepare financial statements and reports as required for internal review or external audits

Experience



Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent platforms Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliation processes Experience with account reconciliation and account analysis techniques Familiarity with budgeting procedures and financial reporting standards Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
