Job Description

We are looking for a Bookkeeper that is highly skilled in accounting and enjoys working in an collaborative environment. If this sounds like you, you may be the candidate we are searching for. Available as a short-term contract / temporary position, this Bookkeeper role is located in the Cambridge, Ontario area. Responsibilities

- Craft Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits

- Manage and review general ledger

- Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

- Appease accounts by balancing entries

- Maintain quality historical records by filing documents

- Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

- Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

- Earlier experience working with various types of accounting software desired

- Strong familiarity with Credit Card Reconciliation

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience

- Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Account reconciliation experience preferred

- Solid understanding of full charge bookkeeping

- 3+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
