Revital Health, a leading provider of health and wellness solutions, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Full-time Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring that our financial transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and reported.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments promptly and accurately.
- Maintain vendor and customer accounts, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and categorized.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and accounting principles.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursement.
- Stay up to date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
- Utilize software applications such as G Suite and QuickBooks to streamline bookkeeping processes and maintain organized financial records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficient in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, for bookkeeping tasks.
- Familiarity with G Suite applications, including Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Bookkeeper
Revital Health is a small business that provides a wide range of services to small businesses in Calgary, AB. We provide accounting, payroll, and payroll processing services to small businesses.

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for the daily processing of all payroll related transactions for the company. The position will also include the preparation of all general ledger accounts and supporting financial reports as well as assisting with month-end closing activities. The position will also be responsible for the preparation of bank deposits and reconciliations between various bank accounts.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years experience in bookkeeping, preferably in the bookkeeping and payroll departments of a small business.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks Desktop Software.
Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop & Online Accounting software. Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop & Online Billing software is a plus. Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop & Online Payroll is a plus. Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop & Online Tax filing is a plus. Knowledge of any business accounting software is a plus.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high stress level and ability to work under pressure and under time standards while maintaining quality standards.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen to be considered for employment with this company.
