Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant
with 3-5 years of experience to manage daily financial tasks, track project costs, and maintain accurate records using QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic setting, ensuring our financial operations align with our commitment to quality and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily billing and job expense tracking to ensure accurate financial records for construction projects.
Prepare general project cost summaries and compare them against estimates to support project management.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and follow-up.
Track profit and loss for specific projects, providing clear financial insights to leadership.
Handle invoice creation, billing, and expense tracking in QuickBooks.
Categorize bank transactions accurately to maintain clean financial records.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure financial data aligns with project goals.
Uphold Total Site Supplies' commitment to professionalism, including representing our brand with integrity.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or junior accounting, preferably in construction, operations, or a related industry.
Proficiency in QuickBooks (QB) for invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, profit and loss tracking, and general ledger management.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Familiarity with construction project cost tracking or estimating is a plus.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in financial data.
