C3 Alliance Corp. is a dynamic boutique firm dedicated to providing consulting and event management services, strategic advice and solutions, and bridging the needs and goals of Indigenous Peoples, the resource sector, government, academia, and others. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Bookkeeper and HR Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the President and CEO, duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
1. Bookkeeping:
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes and vendor payments.
Support month-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.
Process and track invoices, expenses, and office-related budgets.
Maintains electronic and paper filing systems.
Produce company financial reports.
Ad hoc projects as required.

HR Administration:
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing that are in compliance with payroll regulations and tax laws, including payroll tax payments, year-end processes, and tax filings.
Review timesheets and work hours for completeness and accuracy ensuring hours are categorized and invoiced correctly.
Manage and administer company benefits including extended health benefits and RRSP program.
Review and process employee expense reports and reimbursements.
Prepare employment contracts for new employees and onboard as required.
Perform other related duties as required.
Experience:
Successful candidates must have:
A minimum of 2-5 years experience managing accounts payable and receivable.
Experience in payroll and administering group benefits.
Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and online collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom, SharePoint).
Proficiency using Sage Accounting Software.
Experience using Harvest and Monday.com is considered an asset.

Elevated ability to demonstrate discretion, tact and sound judgment, especially when reviewing sensitive or confidential information and determining the appropriate course of action.

Aptitude for financial data.
Strong English written and oral communications skills.
