Boiler Operator / Maintenance

Job Description
Primary focus of this position is to run high pressure boiler (Cleaver-Brook Boiler, maximum pressure 150 psi.):
Start / shutdown boiler;
Maintain boiler operation - control boiler water chemicals, control TDS, perform boiler water tests, perform boiler blowdown, etc.;
Maintain boiler logbook;
Coordinate yearly boiler inspection and repairs.
Additional plant work is required:
assist in equipment maintenance program
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 4th Class Power Engineer Punctual and reliable Very good communicator and team player Tidy and organized Able to prioritize and multi-task Strong attention to detail Basic mechanical aptitude Basic mathematical skills Capable of heavy lifting (up to 25 Kg) Familiar with food manufacturing GMPs and HACCP requirements.
