Body Shop Technician

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform comprehensive semi-trailer accident repairs with attention to safety and quality. Carry out panel replacement and roof reconstruction, ensuring structural integrity and weather protection. Complete floor and crossmember repairs, including aluminum extrusion replacement. Execute welding and frame reconstruction to restore trailer strength and alignment. Manage steel bumper replacements and door frame rebuilds with precision and durability. Conduct upper plate repairs to maintain long-term reliability and performance.

Experience

Skilled Trades Certificate/Diploma in Auto Body Repair, Welding, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered. 5+ years of hands-on experience in trailer body repair and welding. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Results-oriented with excellent attention to detail and effective time management. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (and occasionally more) as required.
