The successful candidate will be required to:
Transfer human remains from the place of death, which includes hospitals, nursing homes and private residences and Coroner office etc.
Confirm identification of human remains being transferred, ensuring relevant information from the Medical Certificate of Death is recorded
Interact with bereaved families and individuals from a variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds
Ensure company vehicles are presentable and properly maintained including washing, interior care and vehicle maintenance
Qualifications:
Valid Ontario "G" driver's license, a full G license and clean driver's abstract.
A minimum of Grade 12
Ability to lift minimum of 100lbs for short periods.
Professional demeanor and appearance
Sensitivity to persons in bereavement and be understanding to a variety of cultural and religious expectations.
Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and consistently high level of accuracy.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; verbal, written and presentation.
Demonstrated strong customer service skills with the ability to partner will all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge and experience in the industry is a bonus but not required training will be provided.
