Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bobcat Operator to join our construction and site maintenance team. In this role, you will operate compact and other heavy equipment to support various projects on our storage facility sites. Your expertise will ensure efficient, safe, and precise operation of machinery to help maintain and develop our properties.

Responsibilities

Operate Bobcat skid-steer loaders and other heavy equipment Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Assist with construction tasks including site grading, excavation, material moving, and paving activities. Support site development projects by operating machinery for earthmoving, trenching, and surface preparation. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Collaborate with project managers and construction crews to complete tasks efficiently and accurately. Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities. Travel to our sites for work in Mississauga, Toronto and Scarborough.

Skills

Mechanical knowledge of heavy construction equipment including Bobcat skid-steer loaders. Valid Forklift License Valid commercial driver's license Proven experience working on construction sites Ability to operate multiple types of heavy equipment safely and efficiently in diverse environments. Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation. Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively. Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor equipment issues and performing basic repairs when necessary.

Pay: $19.27-$28.59 per hour
