Job Description

Job Duties include:
Data Entry, Report generation, Typing, FilingClerical functions using standard divisional software:
- Daily updating and maintenance of electronic routing system
- Data entry to division transportation systems.
- Update route information as directed.
- Scan in documents.
- Prepare reports/maps as required.
- Organize, maintain, and coordinate office records and files in their proper locations.
- Ensure all forms and reports are completed as needed.Coordination and Logistics:
- Assist is providing data for various comparison reports.
- Problem solve transportation route issues.General:
- Greet and screen visitors, answer and refer inbound telephone calls.
- Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries, and refer all inquiries to the appropriate individuals.
- Provide 2-way radio communication to fleet.
- Assist in Transportation and Maintenance office.
- Other duties will be assigned as necessary.Requirements:
- A high school diploma, with additional computer training required.
- 1-2 years' direct work experience as Secretary.
- Demonstrated excellence in computer and keyboarding skills, and skilled in the use of electronic database/software including spreadsheets.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to quickly and accurately compare
similarities and differences in sets of letters, numbers, patterns.
- Ability to generate or use different sets of rules for combining or grouping things in different ways.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and the public.
- Strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively with diverse families, students, staff, and community.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct business in a manner that is respectful and sensitive to the community.
- Demonstrated the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain filing systems, e-file, and basic databases with meticulous records maintenance skills.
- Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions.
- Ability to adjust and be flexible to meet changing work needs and demands.Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 10 months
Part-time hours: 17.50 per weekSalary: $18.75-$24.08 per hourSchedule:
