Summary:
The Heavy Equipment Operator will be tasked with operating the Front-End Loader, Screeners, and other composting equipment as well as other tasks assigned by management.
Responsibilities:
Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Operate the Front-End Loader, Screeners, and other composting equipment as assigned.
Responsible for the timely & efficient processing of materials daily.
Must engage in continuous improvement to the overall daily operations.
You will need to be able to work in cooperation with other equipment operators, staff and customers.
Competencies & Qualifications:
Preference will be given to individuals who have completed a Loader certificate.
2 Years Experience in a similar position is preferrable.
Previous heavy equipment experience is an asset as well as having a mechanical aptitude and knowledge of Loader pre-operative checks.
Basic computer skills are required for this position.
You may be required to work alternate shifts for training purposes, extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
