Job Description

Permanent full-time, part-time and seasonal heavy equipment operators with a minimum class 3 licence. Potential employees will be required to relocate to Labrador West. This is not a fly in/ fly out position.

Summary



As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be essential in executing construction projects by operating various heavy machinery, including dump trucks, concrete trucks, loaders, and excavators. Reporting to the operations/ on call supervisor, your role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities



Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, concrete trucks and excavators to complete construction tasks efficiently. Conduct routine inspections and perform basic maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a valid Class 3 Licence. Collaborate with team members to coordinate operations and ensure contract timelines are met.

Qualifications



Experience in heavy equipment operations. Valid Class 3, 8 & 9 Licence with a clean drivers abstract. Familiarity with driving regulations and safety protocols. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow safety guidelines.

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
