Playground is currently seeking a dynamic Bistro Attendant to join our growing F&B (food and beverage) team. In this exciting opportunity, the Bistro Attendant will report to the Restaurant Manager.

Conveniently located just 15 minutes south of downtown Montreal in the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, the complex currently offers over 40 poker tables and a selection of over 500 Electronic Gaming Devices (slots). In addition, Playground includes an inviting and locally renowned restaurant The Rail Coal Fire Bistro and is in the midst of an exciting expansion project that will include expanding the gaming floors, a stunning hotel and additional contemporary food and beverage outlets.

We are looking for a dynamic Bistro Attendant to serve food and beverages to our gaming clientele. Your responsibilities include taking customeraEUR(TM)s orders, serving a variety of small snacks and beverages, processing payments, clearing tables and keeping the bistro area neat and tidy. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Bistro Hours: 10AM - 2AM/7 days a week - several PT & FT shifts available

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
• Take customersaEUR(TM) orders and process payments
• Be familiar with the Bistro menu and daily specials
• Ensure that the seating area is clean and ready for customers
• Maintain a tidy and organized work area
• Restock glassware, plates, cutlery, food items at the bistro
• Balance your cash at the end of each shift

Requirements:

• Must be bilingual (English and French) and 18 years or older
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work unsupervised in a busy environment
• A positive and team oriented attitude and ability to work well under pressure
• Solid mathematical skills
• Previous experience in a similar position an asset but not required

En outre, Playground comprend un restaurant accueillant et repute localement, The Rail Coal Fire Bistro, et est au milieu d'un projet d'expansion passionnant qui comprendra l'agrandissement des etages de jeu, un hatel magnifique et des points de vente de nourriture et de boissons contemporains supplementaires.

Nous recherchons un(e) prepose(e) dynamique au bistrot pour servir de la nourriture et des boissons a notre clientele de joueurs. Vos responsabilites comprennent la prise des commandes des clients, le service d'une variete de petites collations et de boissons, le traitement des paiements, le debarrassage des tables et le maintien de l'ordre dans la zone du bistro. Pour reussir dans ce rale, vous devez avoir d'excellentes aptitudes a la communication et aux relations interpersonnelles et aimer travailler dans un environnement oa le rythme est soutenu.

Heures d'ouverture du bistro : 10h - 2h, 7 jours par semaine - plusieurs postes a temps partiel et a temps plein disponibles.

Responsabilites :

• Accueillir et aider les clients d'une maniere chaleureuse et professionnelle.
• Offrir un service superieur et maximiser la satisfaction des clients
• Prendre les commandes des clients et traiter les paiements
• Connaatre le menu du Bistro et les plats du jour.
• S'assurer que la zone de service est propre et prate a accueillir les clients.
• Maintenir une zone de travail bien rangee et organisee.
• Reapprovisionner la verrerie, les assiettes, les couverts et les produits alimentaires du bistro.
• Faire la balance de la caisse a la fin de chaque quart de travail.

Exigences :

• aStre bilingue (anglais et franaais) et avoir 18 ans ou plus.
• Excellentes aptitudes a la communication, aux relations interpersonnelles et a l'organisation
• Capacite a effectuer plusieurs taches a la fois et a rester calme et professionnel dans un environnement oa tout va tres vite.
• Capacite a travailler sans supervision dans un environnement tres actif.
• Attitude positive, esprit d'equipe et capacite a travailler sous pression.
• Solides competences en mathematiques
• Une experience anterieure dans un poste similaire est un atout mais n'est pas obligatoire.
