Our Position Reporting to the Director, Respiratory Biologics Alliance, the BioResp Sales Manager, Alliance \xe2\x80\x93 will provide inspirational leadership and direction to the BioResp Sales Specialists, Alliance in order to successfully launch a new biologic treatment for Canadian patients diagnosed with Severe Asthma.

  • This role requires strong people leadership acumen in order to develop a high-performance team through effective coaching and mentoring in a highly competitive environment. Your leadership will build a motivating team culture which encourages continued growth and provides consistent recognition while challenging self and the team for continuous self-development in their current role and for future opportunities. You will also be a proactive talent scout for the organization with proven experience attracting, developing and retaining talent.
  • Working within our AZ/Amgen Alliance structure, you will further foster collaboration and drive the success of our franchise.
  • Use your strong understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, reimbursement and distribution challenges of a biologics product to take a strategic approach to capitalize on marketplace opportunities.
  • Seek to discover and meet the needs of internal and external customers by building relationships, identifying strategic business opportunities and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Manage multiple priorities and resources related to individual and group efforts and take responsibility for redirecting efforts as needed to deliver high productivity and quality of work from self and others. Will demonstrate strong business ethics, understand basic business principles and interpret resources available to make sound business decision to help the team achieve standards of business excellence.
  • Responsible for collecting and reporting Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Health Science.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years pharmaceutical experience with robust people management experience and 2-3 years of specialty care experience, ideally biologics experience
  • Previous experience in other functional areas of the business, i.e., Marketing and/or Market Access.
  • Adaptability and strong advocate of change, including experience with digital marketing/omnichannel campaign execution.
  • Demonstrated experience and mastery in delivering a solution-based approach (KAM).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities resulting in effective collaboration across functional areas to drive win/win outcomes that align to organizational objectives.
  • Act as a role model for the AZ leadership standards, values & behaviours and best commercial practices (act in full compliance of the IMC, AZ Code of conduct, etc.).
  • A valid Driver\'s license is required. Ability to travel with overnight stay up to 25% of the time.
  • Fluency (oral and written) in French and English is preferred
