Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable

Biology Tutor

for Grades 8-12 with a strong understanding of the

BC Science and Biology curriculum

.

Tutors must be available for

in-home sessions

in

White Rock and South Surrey

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one tutoring in

Biology (Grades 8-12)

Adapt lessons and teaching approaches to suit different learning styles and academic needs. Create a patient, structured, and supportive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and next steps. Submit session reports after each lesson to track goals and achievements.

Qualifications

Experience tutoring or teaching high school

Biology

(required). Strong knowledge of the

BC Science and Biology curriculum

. Patient, encouraging, and able to connect well with students. Reliable and professional; experience supporting diverse learning needs is an asset.

Education Assistant / Special Education Assistant (EA/SEA)

experience is an asset.

BC Teacher certification

preferred but not required; strong applicants with university-level science backgrounds (BSc students, graduates, or pre-med students) will also be considered.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$34.00 per hour
