Master\'s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, Biostatistics, or a related discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience in biological data analysis and data visualizations using R.
Some knowledge of molecular genetics.

Our client is seeking an accomplished and driven Bioinformatics Scientist to join the Bioinformatics Development Group. They are a team of skilled bioinformaticians working in a highly collaborative environment to drive product development for clinical testing. This position will focus on bioinformatics and data analysis aspects of implementing NGS-based diagnostics in molecular oncology (liquid biopsy and tumor tissue).
Responsibilities:
Design and develop complex yet robust and scalable bioinformatics solutions for new diagnostic products in CLIA lab.
Design and implement new quality control methodologies and creative data visualizations to monitor performance of clinical laboratory.
Use knowledge of industry standards and best practices to contribute to robust bioinformatics development processes.
Write research grade analysis software.
Work with the software development team to deliver production-grade pipelines.
Collaborate with assay development to design and perform analytical studies to implement molecular diagnostics.
Conduct data analysis.
Partner with commercial team to understand and meet customer needs
