Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bindery Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the finishing process of printed materials, ensuring that products meet quality standards and are prepared for distribution. This position requires a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and safety within a manufacturing environment.

Duties

Operate various bindery equipment, including cutters, folders, and stitchers to prepare printed materials. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards. Assist in setting up machines for production runs and make adjustments as necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Package finished products for shipment, ensuring they are secure and properly labeled. Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues with bindery equipment as needed.

Requirements

Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating and maintaining bindery equipment effectively. Familiarity with packaging processes and techniques is beneficial.. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow specific instructions accurately. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds safely. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a willingness to learn new skills related to machining and bindery operations.

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
