Bim Specialist

Job Description


Required qualifications:

  • High proficiency in BIM technologies
  • High proficiency in Revit is a must
  • SketchUp modeling, MS Office and preparation of presentation materials is desirable.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience completing design and construction documents in Revit and BIM360
  • Experience with multi-family residential projects is highly desirable
  • Effective verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills
  • Degree in Architecture or Architectural/Building Technology from a recognized post-secondary institution
  • Applicant must be registered with the AIBC, or eligible to be registered in the province of British Columbia.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare design and technical documentation under supervision of a senior staff member
  • Manage information flow between AVRP offices
  • Coordinate and manage information exchange with our consultants and clients
  • Manage Revit files, project files backup and models
  • Train, troubleshoot and monitor compliance with the AVRP\xe2\x80\x99s Revit standards

Project types include urban infill, mixed-use, housing, education, corporate office, multigenerational space, health care and more. AVRP has offices located in Vancouver, BC and San Diego, CA. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $55,000.00-$68,000.00 per year Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday

  • Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
  • Revit (preferred)
  • AutoCAD (preferred)
