Duties: \xe2\x80\xa2 Development of Building Information Models for water and wastewater infrastructure design utilizing Revit 3D modelling software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Leadership in the implementation of RVA\xe2\x80\x99s BIM execution plan and BIM standards across all water and wastewater projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparation of design and record drawings for projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparation of REVIT design drawings.

• Create REVIT drawings from mark-ups or based on instructions from Senior Engineers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Utilize to translate mark-ups/sketches into drawings consistent with company standards; check drawings for consistency with standards and plot final drawings; correctly label final work drawings; and update contract drawings and specifications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Reviewing engineering drawings and standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 As-constructed surveys and review of as-constructed surveys and preparation of as-constructed drawings.
• Communicate with other disciplines on a project by project basis \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in field activities to gather project information, as necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Other duties as required where appropriate for the position. Qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2 A graduate of a recognized BIM Management program. \xe2\x80\xa2 A graduate of a 3-year college level civil engineering technologist program or a 2-year civil engineering technician program would be considered favorably \xe2\x80\xa2 A minimum of 1 year of relevant design experience of water and wastewater facilities.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Adept at producing plan/profile drawings using AutoCAD is required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience using REVIT is required. \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrates superior English communication skills both oral and written.
