We are looking for a highly motivated Billing & Deposit Analyst to join our Accounts Receivables team based out of our Corporate Head Office in Downtown Toronto. In this role, you will analyze Property Management activity to facilitate accurate reporting to the North American Accounting team. You will also be responsible for providing excellent Customer Service support and assistance to Property Administrators and Accountants on cash receipt, billing and lease issues.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

Analysis/Investigations:

  • Analyze daily property deposits and follow-up on discrepancies
  • Analyze Residential miscellaneous AR and deposit accounts monthly
  • Analyze bad debt activity quarterly
  • Compile and analyze monthly AR Package
  • Investigate and report daily Integrity issues for resolution
  • Investigate Straight-line Rent issues as addressed
Process:
  • Prepare and record Corporate Cash Receipts
  • Compile and process EFT file entries monthly
  • Generate Straight-line Rent monthly
  • Create journal entries as required
  • Process Bad Debt Provisions
  • Process Security Deposit Refunds
  • Set up of acquisitions
Customer Service:
  • Provide support and assistance to Property Administrators
  • Provide support and assistance to Accounting team
  • Provide support to other Oxford departments
Review & File:
  • Review and file daily cash reconciliations online
  • Review lease profiles against source documents
  • Review and file monthly property reports online
To succeed in this role, you:
  • Have University or College education in Business or Finance field
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year experience in a related position
  • Are computer proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
  • JDE experience is an asset
  • Pride yourself on your excellent attention to detail
  • Have a solid understanding of Accounting Principles & Practices
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Have strong analytical and problem solving skills
