Position Summary
The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for preparing, processing, and maintaining client invoices and billing records. You will work closely with project managers, accounting staff, and clients to ensure timely and accurate billing.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process client invoices based on contracts, project milestones, or time and materials.
Review timesheets, expense reports, and other project documentation for billing accuracy.
Reconcile discrepancies and resolve client billing inquiries promptly.
Maintain and update billing records in the accounting system.
Generate regular billing reports and assist with month-end closing procedures.
Support accounts receivable by following up on outstanding payments.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in billing, accounting, or administrative finance roles.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with QuickBooks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience in Architectural and Engineering billing processes is an asset.
