Calling All Future Payroll Professionals! Spectrum Health Care is hiring a part time short term contract Billing and Payroll Intern for our Toronto office.

• Assist with collecting, verifying, and maintaining accurate employee information in payroll and HR systems
• Support payroll processes, including data reconciliation, Record of Employment (ROE) issuance, and year-end activities
• Respond to basic employee inquiries and prepare standard employment-related documents
• Aid in organizing and maintaining confidential payroll records, including support for audit preparation
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with privacy and data protection policies
• Participate in process improvement activities and stay informed about basic payroll regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field
• Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) or working towards designation
• Basic understanding of payroll processes or HR practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
