Zurich Canada is currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to partner with our hiring leaders in building talent pipelines, developing effective sourcing strategies, and delivering a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will manage a specialized or specific technical level of job openings, requiring good knowledge and expertise in a given niche to support the recruitment process, activities and achievements.

What you will do in this role:
Recruits for specialized and/or technical positions at both individual contributor and leadership levels, through constant and ongoing participation in professional organizations and affiliations, networking and cold calling.
Creates a constantly updated recruiting pipeline of specialized candidates, including a diverse pool, for their areas of recruiting.
Source candidates to build proactive talent pipelines for niche roles using various channels
Engages hiring managers with superior consultation skills, using influence and expertise to recommend most effective methodology for bringing talent into the organization.
Maintains procedures and methods for recruiting by studying the effect of market conditions on recruitment and identifying sources of local and national talent supply.
Identifies, evaluates and recommends newest trends and tools available in recruiting technology to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting process.
May include an emphasis on leadership positions at the manager and director level.
Attend industry events to network with insurance experts and potential talent
