This role involves providing individualized speech, language, and communication therapy services to clients from 18 months to 18 years of age, primarily within the clinic setting. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who enjoys flexible scheduling and autonomy in clinical decision-making.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on client needs and goals
Provide evidence-based interventions targeting speech, language, fluency, voice, and social communication
Collaborate and communicate effectively with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support client progress
Maintain accurate and timely session notes and progress summaries in accordance with professional standards
Educate families on strategies and home programs to support carryover of skills
Manage caseload and schedule independently while maintaining consistent communication with the clinic director or administrative team
Skills & Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid licensure (e.g., OOAQ)
Experience working with pediatric populations
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and families
Ability to work independently
Experience with private practice documentation, billing, and case management is an asset
Professional liability insurance required
Compensation
This is an independent contractor position with competitive percentage-based remuneration. Contractors have the flexibility to determine their schedule and caseload.
