Managed Services - Delivery Architect

Job Summary:

Insight Canada is currently looking for a Managed Services, Delivery Architect to join our team. The Managed Services Delivery Architect is a pre-sales and post-sales customer focused role where creative thinking, public speaking and broad technical expertise is required. The purpose of this role is to keep abreast of industry trends aligned to Insight's portfolio of services and use this knowledge to qualify, position and architect relevant offerings for our Insight Canada customers.

The Managed Services, Delivery Architect will be the trusted advisor to provide thought leadership and technical ownership for multi-discipline IT infrastructure services in a customer environment. As such, the successful candidate must have broad technical knowledge and experience spanning servers, storage, networking, and security infrastructure. The Managed Services Delivery Architect will lead the engagement of other subject matter experts within Insight Canada, and with our vendor and partner ecosystem, to architect and implement technical services solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

• Support a portfolio of Managed Services clients as their Insight Managed Services Architect
• Become the services ambassador representing Insight's portfolio across Connected Workforce (CWF), Cloud and Data Centre Transformation (CDCT), Digital Innovation, and Supply Chain Optimization services
• Effectively collaborate with clients to align IT strategy and solutions with the company's IT and business goals
• Maintain client relationship at the IT Management and C-Suite levels
• Gain an in-depth understanding of our Managed Services commitments and represent new opportunities to expand and improve our services
• Optimize information management through an understanding of evolving business needs, and technology and services capabilities
• Lead System Architecture reviews, and develop the framework for new features and services
• Stay current of the broad technology landscape and emerging trends through ongoing certification training, courses, and conference attendance
• Promote new Insight Canada Services or technology solutions within your client base
• Document technical requirements and develop Delivery Architecture standards
• Analyze alternative solutions in the IT infrastructure and recommend best practices for improved service delivery
• Maintain a good working relationship with strategic vendors. Attend vendor presentations and workshops to enhance your overall understanding of current and future offerings that would complement and enhance Insight's service offerings
• Support business development activities such as proposals, solution development, and pre-sales support
• Maintain a strong cadence and communicate with clients and internally to successfully accomplish objectives
• Motivate others to perform at maximum efficiency and at the highest level of efficiency and quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
• 10+ years in an IT consulting or senior IT operations role
• Experience with Enterprise Strategy, Enterprise Security, Enterprise Operations, IT Service Management, IT Integration or Delivery Architecture
• Experience in an Agile environment preferred
• Experience within multiple Industry sectors
• Deep technical infrastructure architecture experience in server, storage, network, networking, and security
• Advanced experience with cloud technology and services
• Strong interpersonal, human resources, relationship management skills
• Strategic thinker with demonstrated leadership skills
• Attention to detail and organization while managing multiple tasks at hand
