Job Description

This Bilingual HR Business Partner Position Features:

$85,000 - (English and French)

- 10% Bonus
- RRSP Matching (after 3 months)

We are looking for:
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Experience mainly with: Employee relations, Health & Safety, and Leadership coaching (consulting to the business group\'s leadership team)
- Someone currently in a Generalist role supporting ER & H&S, who is looking to get into a larger company
- Someone who has potentially recently moved to Canada and has held 1-2 years in HR here, with exposure to H&S and ER
- Knowledge of current, Canadian H&S guidelines is mandatory

:
- Educate and advise managers and leaders on the best practices for employee engagement, talent development, management and retention.
- Participate in H&S Investigations - from start to finish
- Participate in employee relations scenarios, consulting with management and leading conversations
- Advise and support managers and leaders on creating a high-performance culture and ensuring learning and development programs are executed.
- Participate in recruitment for various positions to ensure locations are attracting and recruiting the best talent, in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Promote a healthy, safe and engaged workplace.
- Build, grow and maintain strong relationships with business partners and others.

Qualifications:
- 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources required in the areas of Health & Safety, Business group coaching and employee relations.
- Certificate/Degree in Human Resources Management required
- Working Knowledge of Employment Standards Act, Human Rights, and Health and Safety Legislation and other relevant employment Legislation
- Previous experience in retail and/or distribution, manufacturing, supply chain is an asset
- Bilingualism in English/French is required
