About the role Working within our Group Benefits team you will provide prompt, courteous and effective client service to individual Group Benefits Plan participants in a call center environment. You will address clients\xe2\x80\x99 insurance requirements, using established procedures in a fast-paced environment, and help build and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You drive results by reviewing information requests for specialized products and services. The Group Benefits Administrator is a customer-focused role, answering queries from clients via telephone and email. A key attribute to the success of this role is the ability to effectively communicate the information both in writing and verbally. Strong customer service skills are required. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do here:

  • Assist members and clients, listen to their needs and propose personalized solutions
  • Day-to-day management of client requests, and the ongoing general administration and maintenance of group client activities
  • Provide accurate, professional, quality Customer Service to clients\xe2\x80\x99 groups
  • Handle written and verbal client inquiries regarding Group Insurance coverage and policies; communicating benefits and providing information on eligibility and coverage options
  • Liaising with Clients, Providers and Insurance Carriers ensuring inquiries/complaints are handled accordingly
  • Help identify your unit\xe2\x80\x99s operational risks and opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinker with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Great team player who can also work independently
  • Solid sense of initiative and urgency and have a desire to take on more responsibility
  • Dedicated and organized, with demonstrated accountability and reliability in the quality and timeliness of work
  • Effective prioritization and follow up with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Good analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Accident/Sickness license is not necessary but will be required within 6 months of employment
  • A self-starter who shows appropriate level of initiative and creativity
  • Call Centre experience is an asset
  • Bilingualism (FR/EN) is an asset
