About the Opportunity
Our growing client in the central Gatineau region is seeking a Bilingual Finance Specialist to join their dynamic organization on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Institute and maintain policies & procedures, maximizing accuracy and compliance
• Development and implementation of internal controls
• Coordination and preparation of budget and financial forecasts
• Provide guidance and implementation of accounting standards as well as development of supplemental training programs
• Work closely with internal and external Auditors
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, maintaining integrity to reporting standards
• Working closely with internal and external stakeholders and presenting financial reports
• Communicating with Senior Management on all Finance-related strategies

About You
The successful candidate will have the following:

• Fluently bilingual in both official languages (English & French)
• CPA Designation, active in good standing or in CFE stages, or Designation equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in Finance within a similar role for a medium-to-large organization
• Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
