Chemtec Coatings is currently seeking a competent and highly organized individual to join our team as a Factory Manager. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing our operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes and to digitalize processes to achieve optimization.
Responsibilities
Overseeing and enhancing the efficiency of our manufacturing operations while maintaining a highly efficient and productive workflow.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and departments to identify areas for operational improvement and implementing strategic initiatives for long-term success.
Analyzing budgets, production schedules, and resource allocation to ensure cost effectiveness and efficient utilization of resources.
Monitoring and assessing production processes to identify opportunities for optimization, quality enhancement, and waste reduction.
Leading a team to ensure the smooth flow of manufacturing activities, maintaining high levels of productivity, quality, and safety.
Overseeing inventory management, including stock levels and stock movements, to ensure accurate and efficient supply chin operations.
Conducting thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing products to maintain quality standards and compliance with specifications.
Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and ensure consistency in processes.
Identifying and addressing operational bottlenecks, challenges, and risks, and proposing effective solution to enhance overall performance.
Collaborating with senior management to establish performance metrics, KPIs, and goals, and regularly reporting on operational performance.
Collaborating with R&D team to identify and implement new technologies and processes.
Managing and maintaining equipment, ensuring they are in optimal condition and performing at their best.
Coordinating with third-party vendors and suppliers for the procurement of material and supplies.
leading and motivating a team of technicians, providing them with necessary training and guidance.
Managing the department budget, actively seeking cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Qualifications
Technical degree in Chemistry or Manufacturing plus experience or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field.
Relevant proven experience; with Technical degree in Chemistry (10+years) or Manufacturing with a bachelor's degree (5+years), master's degree (3+years) or PhD (1+years) in operations management within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on process improvement and digital transformation.
Experience in managing operations in a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of various techniques, material, and processes.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficient in using relevant computer software and systems.
strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent understanding of safety protocols and quality standards in operations.
Ability to multitasks and accurately verify quantities of multiple products in various formats.
