What is the opportunity?

RBC is hiring a Bilingual Equipment Finance Associate to drive a high quality, differentiated client experience for Commercial Banking clients through servicing and fulfillment of complex leasing transactions and required documentation. You will take end to end responsibility and be the single point of contact for RBC clients, Leasing Sales Managers, Leasing vendors and legal parties where required. Additionally, you will take ownership and personal accountability for accurate and efficient execution and control of leasing transactions due diligence within established turnaround timeframes and identify and resolve issues at source, making it easier to enhance and build the client and partner relationships.

What will you do?

  • Act as a single point of contact to provide deep knowledge and experience of RBC Leasing products and services to ensure a positive client experience and mitigation of operational/credit risk
  • Responsible for efficient and effective end to end co-ordination and service delivery for high risk, high complex (e.g. non-standard leasing transactions and required documentation etc. Manage accordingly to the level of priority, urgency required with clear focus to sustain and maintain quality client relationship)
  • Act as advocate for the client experience using resources and logical techniques to investigate and evaluate complex issues which may be outside of policy/process/procedural guidelines in order to satisfy the client needs/client escalation. Identify a number of solutions and acts upon each appropriately to manage risks.
  • Provide ongoing coaching for Leasing Sales Managers as required to ensure credit and operational risks and workflow processes are comprehended and followed. Include system and application navigation assist/coaching where required.
  • Exercise judgment in making decisions, with high level escalations referred to appropriate levels
  • Able to identify and act upon efficiency and effectiveness opportunities through effective listening, probing and clarifying
  • Work on several bank/leasing applications e.g. synergy, CMS, EDGE, ASSET e-mail in order to complete tasks
  • Follow established Coaching Routines and related activity to drive high performance and enhance client experience
What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • Fluently Bilingual in French and English languages (written and oral communication)
  • Strong knowledge of lease, financing and ancillary documentation
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills with ability to effectively manage time and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems by generating, evaluating and implementing alternatives.
  • Detail-oriented and able to comprehend the terms and conditions of contracts
Nice-to-have
  • Centre of expertise on equipment financing documentation. Knowledge and understanding of credit policies, security documentation, systems abilities and policies
  • Leasing experience
  • Superior understanding of PPSA (The Personal Property Security Act ) laws across the country
  • Strong knowledge of T-Value, HP Calculator, MS Office (Excel and Word)

En quoi consiste le rale ?

Vous jouerez un rale cle en tant quaEUR(TM)associe(e) bilingue (franaais/anglais) en financement d'equipement pour offrir un service de haute qualite aux clients des services bancaires commerciaux en assurant la gestion et la documentation requise de transactions de credit-bail complexes. Vous assumerez la responsabilite de bout en bout et serez le point de contact unique pour les clients de RBC, les directeurs des ventes de credit-bail, les fournisseurs de credit-bail et les parties juridiques, le cas echeant. De plus, vous serez responsable de l'execution et du contrale precis et efficace de la diligence raisonnable des operations de credit-bail dans les delais etablis, et vous identifierez et resoudrez les problames a la source, ce qui facilitera l'amelioration et le renforcement des relations avec les clients et les partenaires.

Quelles seront vos taches ?
  • Agir en tant que point de contact unique pour fournir une connaissance et une experience approfondies des produits et services de RBC credit-bail afin d'assurer une experience client positive et une attenuation des risques operationnels et de credit.
  • Vous serez responsable de la coordination et de la prestation de services efficaces et efficientes de bout en bout pour les operations de credit-bail a haut risque et complexes (p. ex. les operations de credit-bail non standard et la documentation requise). Gerer en consequence le niveau de priorite et d'urgence requis en se concentrant clairement sur le maintien et la qualite des relations avec les clients).
  • Agir en tant que defenseur de l'experience du client en utilisant des ressources et des techniques logiques pour enquater et evaluer des questions complexes qui peuvent atre en dehors de la politique/du processus/des directives procedurales afin de satisfaire les besoins du client/de l'escalade du client. Identifier un certain nombre de solutions et agir sur chacune d'elles de maniare appropriee pour gerer les risques.
  • Fournir un encadrement continu aux directeurs des ventes de credit-bail, selon les besoins, afin de s'assurer que les risques de credit et operationnels et les processus de travail sont compris et suivis. Il s'agit notamment d'aider et d'encadrer la navigation dans les systames et les applications, le cas echeant.
  • Faire preuve de discernement dans la prise de decisions, et faire remonter les problames de haut niveau aux niveaux appropries.
  • Capable d'identifier et d'agir sur les opportunites d'efficacite et d'efficience grace a une ecoute, un questionnement et une clarification efficaces.
  • Travailler sur plusieurs applications bancaires/de credit-bail, par exemple Synergy, CMS, EDGE, ASSET, e-mail, afin de mener a bien les taches.
  • Suivre les routines de coaching etablies et les activites connexes afin d'obtenir des performances elevees et d'ameliorer l'experience du client.
Competences essentielles :
  • Une connaissance approfondie du credit-bail, du financement ainsi que des documents connexes et des politiques sur le credit
  • Excellentes competences multitaches et organisationnelles, avec la capacite de gerer efficacement le temps et les priorites.
  • Capacite demontree a resoudre des problames en generant, evaluant et mettant en A"uvre des alternatives.
  • Souci du detail et capacite a comprendre les termes et conditions des contrats.
  • Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication orale et ecrite (franaais et anglais).
Competences souhaitees
  • Expertise sur la documentation relative au financement des equipements. Connaissance et comprehension des politiques de credit, des documents de securite, des capacites et des politiques des systames.
  • Experience en matiare de credit-bail
  • Comprehension superieure des lois RDPRM (le Registre des droits personnels et reels mobiliers).
  • Connaissance approfondie de la T-Value, de la calculatrice HP et de MS Office (Excel et Word).
