The successful candidate investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and settles claims by telephone, correspondence and when required through mediation (virtual or in person) and correspondence. Settling losses within delegated authority or reporting to clients while also directing field adjusters, experts and legal council on a task basis.
This role requires frequent interactions in English and requires reading and preparing documents in English on a frequent basis.

Le candidat retenu enquete, evalue, negocie et regle des reclamations par telephone, correspondance et, si necessaire, par mediation (virtuelle ou en personne) et correspondance. Il regle les pertes dans le cadre de l'autorite deleguee ou informe les clients tout en dirigeant les experts sur le terrain, les experts et le conseil juridique sur une base de tache.
Ce role necessite des interactions frequentes en anglais et necessite la lecture et la preparation frequentes de documents en anglais.
Investigation, collection, and analysis of claims information
Accurate recording, reporting and presentation of files
Evaluates coverage, liability and quantum
Maintenance of accurate billing, and time and expense records
Negotiates, settles, and finalizes claims
File diary management
Work with manager to maintain client relations
Responsabilites (Francais)
Enquete, collecte et analyse des informations sur les sinistres
Enregistrement, rapport et presentation precis des dossiers
Evalue la couverture, la responsabilite et le montant
Maintien d'une facturation precise et des enregistrements de temps et de depenses
Negocie, regle et finalise les sinistres
Gestion du journal des dossiers
Travaille avec le responsable pour maintenir les relations avec les clients
Full professional bilingualism in French and English
Minimum 6 years of technical claims handling experience in multiline claims, complex claim handling, property claims, legal proceedings and litigation management
Commercial and personal AMF license
Experience with TPA and London Market claims is preferred
Post Secondary education in an insurance related field will be considered an asset
Strong computer and reporting skills including Office 365 and Windows 10
A team player with outstanding customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and mathematical ability
Able to manage multiple priorities
Strong PC skills including application based skills
Complete continuing education courses as required by Crawford and Company, province, or professional trade association
Qualifications (Francais)
Bilinguisme professionnel complet en francais et anglais.
Minimum de 6 ans d'experience en gestion de sinistres techniques dans des sinistres multi-lignes, gestion de sinistres complexes, sinistres immobiliers, procedures legales et gestion des litiges.
Licence AMF commerciale et personnelle.
Une experience avec les sinistres TPA et du marche londonien est preferable.
Une education post-secondaire dans un domaine lie aux assurances sera consideree comme un atout.
Solides competences informatiques et de reporting, y compris Office 365 et Windows 10.
Un joueur d'equipe avec d'excellentes competences en service a la clientele.
Excellentes competences en communication verbale et ecrite.
Forte capacite analytique et mathematique.
Capacite a gerer plusieurs priorites.
Solides competences en informatique, y compris des competences basees sur des applications.
Suivre des cours de formation continue comme l'exigent Crawford and Company, la province ou l'association professionnelle.
