The Customer Service role supports multiple roles and functions. We are looking for a dynamic and organized individual that can complete multiple tasks throughout the day while interacting with and servicing multiple internal and external stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to management, service, and collections as required
  • Handle inbound and outbound communications by phone, text, email, mail, etc. in a courteous and professional manner. Always striving to help our customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem solving and ability to help customers in need.
  • Document management. Distribute incoming communications to stakeholders. Mail, Email, text, Fax, etc.
  • Ability to work on multiple computer systems to source information and provide detailed updates of events and instructions.
  • Complete a multitude of administrative tasks for multiple departments
  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft and other products
  • Perform filing, scanning, and other administrative duties as required
  • Provide reception back up as required. Operate a multi-line telephone system to answer and transfer all incoming calls to the appropriate individuals/department in a courteous and professional manner and take detailed messages. Maintain a clean reception area when covering
Education & Experience:
  • Must be fluent in both English and French
  • University degree preferred
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of Administrative and or Service experience or combination of education and industry related experience; subprime automotive segment preferred
  • Having an understanding of the automotive finance lifecycle an asset.
  • Understanding of the Personal Property Security Act an asset
  • Proficiency with loan origination software, client maintenance software, collections software and Microsoft Office. Excel is used extensively for reporting.
  • Advanced user experience with Excel, Word, PPT, and Outlook
Skills
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and verbal).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PPT) and Windows environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail & punctuality
  • Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Strong data entry / keyboarding skills, and efficient with computers
  • Familiar with routine office equipment i.e. telephone systems, photocopier, fax.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and resolve problems independently.
Working Conditions
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Overtime as required.
  • Scheduled shifts for days, evenings, and rotating Saturdays.
  • Lifting or moving up to 10lbs may be required.
  • Exposure to noise, stress, and disruptions
  • Walking to carry out essential duties of the job
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time
  • Utilize phone and headsets for long periods of time
