What You'll Do
Credit Applications & Annual Reviews
Maintain and update customer credit files with accuracy and attention to detail.
Conduct annual credit assessments to monitor exposure and proactively identify risk.
Evaluate and report any receivership or bankruptcy risks.
Educate customers on Mabe's credit policies and ensure compliance with payment terms.
Collections
Manage collections in a structured and strategic manner, following established KPIs.
Build trust-based relationships with key accounts.
Contact past-due customers to arrange payment and provide necessary backup documentation.
Consistently meet monthly collection and aging targets through effective follow-ups.
Order Credit Releases
Review and maintain detailed reports on credit-blocked orders.
Approve or escalate order releases based on credit standing and company policy.
Communicate potential issues that could delay deliveries and act proactively to resolve them.
Dispute Management
Investigate customer disputes and gather required documentation.
Code and track disputes through resolution, collaborating with internal claims and business teams.
Communicate outcomes to customers and resume collection activity promptly.
Escalate recurring or unresolved discrepancies to improve process efficiency.
-What You Bring
Post-secondary education in Business, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience in
Accounts Receivable, Credit, or Collections
.
Bilingual fluency in English and French
(verbal and written).
Strong proficiency in
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
; SAP experience is an asset.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
Strong analytical thinking, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive mindset with a sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency.
