NOTE: REMOTE work model, office located in Montreal, QC.

Work Experience: LifeRay CMS platform, Web Development, Content Creation,Troubleshoot, Quality Assurance, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SEO.

Reporting to: Senior Advisor of Social Media Strategy and Digital
2 Months Part-time Contract with Possibility of Extension.



The Content Coordinator will play a crucial role in building and maintaining web pages on the LifeRay CMS platform. Their primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth creation, organization, and publishing of web content in alignment with our organization\xe2\x80\x99s goals and brand standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for web development, content creation, and a strong understanding of CMS.

Responsibilities: * Content Creation and Publishing:

• Develop and publish web pages using the LifeRay CMS platform, ensuring consistent branding and adherence to style guidelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and determine the appropriate layout, structure, and functionality of web pages
• Optimize web content as needed
• Build bilingual (English, French) pages using translation service
• CMS Management:

• Serve as one of the primary administrators for the LifeRay CMS platform, responsible for content management
• Troubleshoot and resolve any CMS-related issues.
• Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including creative agency, IT web developers and subject matter experts and content creators, to execute web pages.
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders regarding project status, timelines, and any potential roadblocks.
• Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure web pages are error-free, fully functional, and compatible across different browsers and devices.
• Ensure there are no grammatic errors or visual discrepancies against original provided mock-ups

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in web/graphic design, marketing or communications, computer science, or a related field
• Proven experience in building and managing web pages on the LifeRay CMS platform or similar CMS systems
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a basic understanding of web development principles
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and web accessibility standards considered an asset
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bilingualism (English, French) considered an asset
