  • Develop direct reports
  • Coach against established key performance indicators
  • Foster an inclusive and open culture
  • Support ongoing education of sales techniques, underwriting, pricing, product and claims
  • Raising visibility of the brand throughout organization
  • Coach to and mitigate all Compliance requirements including, regulatory, legal & UW
  • Identify root causes of results and execute initiatives to drive positive performance
  • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
  • Develop keen insight on industry/competitive environment, economic and legislative developments and recommend changes in strategies or process
  • Work proactively with direct Manager to develop improved client experience, operational and Practice Management practices, and overall personal development
  • Socialize Insurance strategy to business partners
Requirements

  • Requires understanding of a range of Insurance products and services
  • Previous Insurance experience and expert knowledge of the business environment, processes, procedures, transactions and activities of products and services
  • Formal certifications (such as CIP or FCIP) at this level of expertise preferable
  • Has the relevant license to provide advice and service customers about specified insurance products for the one or more provinces.
  • Ability to influence cross functionally
  • Ability to drive results through coaching, education and motivational techniques
  • Operate as a change agent
  • Forward thinking, results driven and innovative
  • Uses judgement and understanding of process/policy risk when recommending exceptions outside general practices or guidelines
  • Share knowledge, information, skills, and subject matter expertise among the team and ensure the timely communication of issues and encourage good working relationships with other functions and teams
