We are seeking a Bilingual Collections Administrator to oversee the day-to-day service fee receivable collections and support the companyxe2x80x99s billing operations.This six-month contract role, based in Moncton, New Brunswick, offers a valuable opportunity to take a proactive approach to managing accounts receivable and contribute to a highly collaborative team and has long-term/permanent potential.Key Responsibilities for the Job:

  • Implement and maintain collection policies, assign tasks, and recommend changes to improve overall service levels
  • Oversee the status of delinquent accounts, initiate appropriate collection processes, and drive collection performance to meet both short- and long-term company objectives
  • Handle inquiries related to accounts receivable and billing, ensuring exceptional customer service
  • Make outbound calls to follow up on payments as needed
  • Collaborate closely with the Supervisor, Billing and Collections, and a small team of clerks to streamline operations
  • Create invoices, post payments, and assist with daily billing and cash posting processes
  • Support data entry and other administrative billing tasks as required
Skills & Attributes for Success:
  • Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or a related field
  • 1-2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections-focused roles
  • Bilingualism in French and English is required to provide exceptional service to a diverse client base
  • A compassionate, empathetic attitude to handle sensitive client interactions effectively
  • Previous experience in a call center or high-volume inquiry environment is highly valued
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to assess and improve collection processes to drive efficiency and achieve departmental goals
