TalentWorld is seeking a bilingual Accounting Technician for an exciting role in Montreal!

Responsibilities for the Accounting Technician:
Process capital calls and supplier invoice payments.
Prepare and record bank deposits and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Manage broker statement write-ups and ensure accuracy of records.
Prepare and file GST/QST returns on time.
Support year-end closing: audit file preparation and tax reporting.
Handle subscription documentation for new investments and maintain proper records.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance, accuracy, and process improvements.
Requirements for the Accounting Technician:
College Diploma (DEC) or Vocational Diploma (DEP) in Business Administration or Accounting
1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel in particular)
Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Online
High level of discretion when handling confidential information
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills in both English and French (oral and written)
