Role Summary:
Working as a Bike Assembler at Freedom Concepts, you are part of the larger, overall Production team. In this position, you will be the finishing Bicycle Assembler putting together the various kits and assemblies of the bikes and making sure quality standards are met before the product ships out the back door. Repetition and working on your feet are a huge part of this position, but as a manufacturer of made-to-order products, you must also be able to problem-solve and be able to retain specific information as it relates to less frequently used inventory. Although you are working alongside other skilled workers on the Production team, you must be comfortable working independently in a factory setting. A successful Bike Assembler enjoys working with their hands, has an analytical mind, can physically meet the demands of the job, and has a keen eye for detail.
Specific Functions and Competencies:
Building and assembling final products as per the ordered specifications.
Competency in recognizing and working with various types of materials and parts.
Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines while continuing to deliver consistent performance.
Strong mechanical aptitude and extreme comfort using hand tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with inventory management systems is considered an asset.
Knowledge and appreciation for bicycle maintenance is a plus.
Collaborates and communicates with other Bike Assemblers, Production staff, Engineers, etc.
Maintains a clean, neat, and organized work bench daily.
General production support such as equipment maintenance, building upkeep projects, and seasonal maintenance may be required from time to time.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs and work on your feet for an entire day.
Other duties as assigned.

Physical / Environmental Requirements:
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time and lift up to 75 lbs.
Freedom Concepts is located inside the Perimeter, but unfortunately outside of city services such as Transit. Therefore, owning your own vehicle and having reliable transportation is strongly encouraged.
This role's primary work is in the production warehouse.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude / reasoning.
Time management, planning, and prioritization skills.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
Able to work independently and within a team.
Salary / Wage Range:
To be discussed during the interview process but is dependent upon years of experience and the specific skillset the successful candidate is bringing with them.
