YOUR ROLE





As a Benefit Specialist at CBIG the key function of this role is to retain existing clients by providing an exceptional client experience. As a member of the CBIG Retention team, your role is to build relationships and communicate with clients by way of:


Presenting experience reviews Conducting mid year review calls Presenting and selling renewals Participation in business planning work with internal and external stakeholders regarding changes or amendments to plans

YOUR IMPACT




Develop and nurture new and existing client relationships Educate clients on the renewal process Preparation for meetings Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders Communicate with clients to increase loyalty, retain business and resolve any retention issues Provide support and maintain regular communication with clients: + Conduct quarterly account reviews
+ Conduct annual account renewals
+ Work with stakeholders on amendments and changes to the plans
Request plan amendments as required Assist with compiling information for amendment quotes and marketing Review quotes and proposals for accuracy Update and maintain the CRM regularly Abide by corporate policies as documented Follow corporate procedures as documented Other duties as assigned

THIS IS YOU




Valid Canadian Life Insurance license is required (or will obtain within 3 months) GBA designation is recommended, CEBS designation is an asset Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Demonstrated sales and customer relations experience Analytical and problem-solving skills The ability to deliver effective sales and industry presentations Sound organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Consistently maintain confidentiality and discretion A flexible and strong team player Valid driver's license

COMPENSATION





At the time of this posting, the estimated annual base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the annual base salary only and does not encompass our comprehensive total rewards, benefits, and potential commissions that we proudly offer.
