We are looking for a Benefits Consultant that has the character and personality to work with a strong team of personable and successful individuals. Our Benefits Consultants are responsible for driving revenue growth by building and maintaining valuable relationships with prospects and clients. This is delivered by consulting with clients in the areas of employee benefits, compensation, retirement solutions and other associated human capital needs. Are you passionate about helping clients manage risk, cost and facilitate an equitable and engaged workforce? Key Responsibilities: Your primary accountability will be to develop and acquire new business revenue through sales to new and existing clients with emphasis on small to mid-size companies with high revenue Participating in team sales situations with other producers and support personnel Developing a pipeline of business opportunities that are an appropriate mix of new clients and account expansion Introducing Gallagher\xe2\x80\x99s full-service offering to broaden the scope and impact of client relationships Assisting, educating and mentoring other staff members in new client sales situations and existing client service requirements You will convey deep technical expertise and business insight in helping clients evaluate opportunities to reduce cost, risk and improve the overall competitiveness of benefits, retirement and HR services Constantly stay ahead of industry, market and legislative trends that impact health & welfare plan design, delivery and compliance Reciprocally develop proposals that are fiscally sound, reflect an appropriate investment in the client, and demonstrate the overall capabilities of Gallagher Establishing and maintaining inter division/intercompany relationships consistent with our corporate culture Qualifications: You will be successful if you possess: Significant consultative B2B sales experience Have developed new business as well as maintained an existing customer base Experience in the benefits industry Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and 5+years related experience; OR High School Diploma/GED required and 10 or more years experience Some of the desired work traits are: Acts independently with minimal direction Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team selling environment Results Oriented A real passion for building relationships and collaborating toward success A master communicator If you love the challenges of this dynamic field, then Gallagher will support and nurture your professional development and success.
