The Bellman is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by assisting with luggage handling, transportation, and information requests. The Bellman creates a warm and welcoming arrival and departure experience, ensuring that all guests feel valued and cared for throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests upon arrival and departure with courtesy and professionalism.
Assist guests with luggage--loading, unloading, and delivering to rooms promptly and carefully.
Escort guests to their rooms, explain hotel features, amenities, and emergency procedures.
Provide directions, transportation arrangements, and general information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
Handle guest requests efficiently, ensuring satisfaction and timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bell desk, lobby area, and luggage storage room.
Tag, store, and retrieve guest luggage and other belongings when necessary.
Coordinate with the front desk and concierge to support guest arrivals and departures.
Deliver packages, messages, and amenities to guest rooms as assigned.
Report any lost or damaged items and assist in the hotel's lost and found procedures.
Uphold hotel safety and security policies at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or a customer-facing role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy luggage (up to 50 lbs).
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
