Job Description

We are a busy 3 Diamond hotel located in Downtown Vancouver currently looking to fill a position for a Bellman & Concierge. This position will be full time and may include extra shifts and overtime.

The successful candidate needs to possess a friendly and welcoming attitude and be able to work well in a busy environment and appropriately prioritize and multitask.

The role of a bellman/concierge will be responsible for welcoming our guests to the hotel and assisting with any needs or questions they may have during their stay.

Responsibilities Include:

Warmly welcome guests to the hotel and assist guests to and from their room when necessary

Assist guests with luggage when necessary.

Loading and unloading of bags into guest vehicles and tour busses.

Inform guests of in-room amenities.

Take and deliver Room Service food and beverages.

Promote the hotel outlets and facilities.

Assist guests with questions about tours, attractions, places to see and things to do around Vancouver and neighbouring cities.

Assist guests in booking tours, attractions, and reservations.

Maintain a clean and organized Lobby and hotel entrance area.

Qualifications:

Must maintain a clean and professional personal appearance.

Must be available to work morning shifts, evening shifts and weekends.

Must be able to speak, read and write English, a second language is an asset.

Must possess exceptional communication skills.

Knowledge of Vancouver and it's attractions.

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length.

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. on a regular and continuous basis.

Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment on a regular and continuous basis.

Pay: $20.25 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
