We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Therapists to join our team in providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental needs. This position is in-home and community-based, focusing on helping clients develop communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills. As a Behavior Therapist, you will work directly with clients under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor/BCBA, implementing individualized treatment plans that empower families and promote independence.
Duties
Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes and community settings.
Implement individualized treatment plans and teaching programs under the direction of a Clinical Supervisor/BCBA.
Collect and record accurate data on client progress during each session.
Support clients in developing communication, social, play, and self-help skills.
Assist in promoting independence and generalization of skills across environments.
Manage challenging behaviors using approved ABA strategies and interventions.
Maintain professionalism and positive rapport with clients, families, and team members.
Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for the client at all times.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience
working with or teaching children with special needs.
Education
in one of the following (or currently enrolled):
Behavioural Science Technology Diploma
Autism and Behavioural Science Certificate
Child and Youth Work (CYW) Diploma
Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow treatment protocols consistently.
Comfortable working in both
home and community settings

CPR/First Aid certification
(or willingness to obtain).
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations.
or completion of the 40-hour RBT training.
Experience using data collection tools and ABA teaching strategies.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $18.59-$25.00 per hour
