Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Interventionist to work with a fun and playful boy with ASD. Sessions will be the Hanley program (My way program/SBT). You will be implementing ABA programs designed and supervised by a BCBA.

About the Role:



Part-time position, 2 days per week (Monday 10:15-11:15, Tuesday 4-5) Focus on building social skills and independence in natural environments

Duties of a Behaviour Interventionist:



Implement behaviour intervention plans and provide direct support to the learner Collect data on target behaviours and skill acquisition Monitor progress and adjust strategies with support from the junior/senior behaviour consultant and BCBA Collaborate with other members of the team (e.g., consultants, parents, other professionals) to ensure consistency Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of sessions and progress notes

Requirements:



Energetic, patient, and dependable Open to learning and has a positive attitude Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong play skills and willingness to engage in fun, child-led activities Able to commit to the family for at least 1 year Prior training or coursework in ABA or a related field (e.g., Psychology, ECE, Education) is an asset but not required At least 19 years old Able to provide a clear criminal record check (or willing to obtain one) Able to provide at least 2 professional references
