We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Interventionist to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work closely with children with diverse needs, implementing individualized behaviour support plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Services will be delivered primarily at the Company's centre, with occasional travel to client homes or community settings as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and follow behaviour intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
Collect and record data on client progress and collaborate with the BCBA to adjust interventions as needed.
Maintain open and effective communication with the child's family and the supervising BCBA.
Participate in regular training and supervision sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children, especially those with developmental or behavioural needs, is preferred but not required.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, as you will need your own car to travel to and from the homes of our clients (when required).
A passion for supporting neurodiverse individuals and a commitment to a neurodiversity-affirming approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to the needs of each client.
Willingness to learn and grow under the mentorship of a BCBA.
