Fawkes Academy and ABA Learning Centre are seeking a reliable and motivated candidate to join our multidisciplinary team in our

Richmond

classroom (Primary). This is an excellent long-term opportunity of seasonal employment for RBTs, EA's and Behaviour and Educational Interventionists with a desire to acquire effective instructional skills in preparation for career opportunities working with children with special needs in a variety of settings.

Successful candidates will become an active member of our team providing behavioural support using applied behavioural analysis with children with autism spectrum disorders. You will be provided ongoing training and support while having the opportunity to transition into positions requiring leadership and decision-making skills over time. You will be supported by Classroom Teachers teaching BC Curriculum to select students in our education program and professionals who are Board Certified Behaviour Analysts with skills and experience in providing intervention programs.

The positions are Monday to Friday

. We are looking for

TWO hires, one full time and one part time:

Position 1: From 8:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday (must be 5 days per week) in our Primary classroom

. Hours are not guaranteed for the summer (July to August).

Position 2: From 12:30pm to 4pm Monday to Friday (must be 5 days per week) in our Primary classroom.

We typically have a $19-21/hr. training rate during our 3 month probation which shifts to the $22-$25 hourly rate after successfully completing probation.

About Us:

Fawkes Academy is an independent school that specializes in children with autism spectrum disorders. ABA Learning Centre In-Clinic is a learning centre that includes the Fawkes Academy students and also pre-K students requiring 1 to 1 support. We have a diverse range of students on the spectrum who are working on individualized programs that may include life skills, academic readiness, full academics, or a combination of skills across these types of programs. You will also be supported by our Speech and Language Pathologist.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
