We are looking for a Behaviour Interventionist (BI) to join a collaborative home-based support team focusing on communication, self-regulation, and early learning skills. You'll be working 1:1 with the student in their home and community, supporting meaningful learning through play and connection.
No prior experience is necessary -- training and supervision will be provided by Sarah Dungait, BCBA, Associate Consultant with Semiahmoo Behaviour Analysts Inc. (SBAI).
This is a wonderful opportunity for students in Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Psychology, or related fields who are interested in neuroaffirming, interdisciplinary practice. You'll have frequent opportunities to collaborate with the SLP and OT on the team.

Burnaby - near Confederation Park
The student is a 5-year-old Autistic boy who communicates using 2-word combinations and loves cars, letters, and numbers. He has a great sense of humour and enjoys playful, social interactions.
Current goals include building communication, self-regulation, executive functioning, and readiness-to-learn skills in ways that feel engaging and affirming for him.
Looking for
2-3 sessions per week

2 hours

Tuesdays & Fridays:
Afternoons from 1:00 p.m. onward
Potential for 1 weekend session
Compensation will be based on experience.
