Children's Autism Services of Edmonton is seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic Behaviour Consultant to join our dynamic team. Provide consultation regarding behavioral issues interfering with development, learning and safety Operate from a developmental and trauma-informed approach to emotional-behaviour challenges Use assessment tools and intervention planning from the SCERTS model Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, psychologists, physical therapists and educators. Provide guidance and education to families, empowering them with tools and techniques for fostering positive development at home. Conduct thorough assessments to understand each child's unique needs and challenges. Create individualized regulation and behavior support plans

Skills and Qualifications: To apply, you must have:



A master's degree in a related field, such as: Psychology, Disability Studies, Education, Child and Youth Care, or Applied Behavior Sciences. Applicants with a bachelor's degree and extensive experience providing behaviour consultation may also be considered Experience providing consultation in homes and schools with pediatric clients Your own vehicle and valid driver's license Excellent communication and organizational skills Passion and commitment for working with children and their families All hires must provide a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector, Child Intervention check and Standard First Aid & level-C CPR
